(VOVWORLD) - The 2018 PyeongChang Winter Games can deliver to the world a message of peace from the two Koreas, who have agreed to march together at the opening ceremony, Olympic chief Thomas Bach said Tuesday.

The two nations, which remain technically at war as there has been no peace treaty since the Korean War came to an end in 1953, will send a powerful signal in favor of peace, Bach said.
North Korea has the right to participate in the Olympic Games and the IOC will be fair, non-political, and do its best to unite people, Bach said.
