(VOVWORLD) - A South Korean delegation traveled to North Korea on Tuesday to inspect the venues where the two Koreas will hold joint cultural and sports events to celebrate the 2018 Winter Olympics, set to open next month in the South’s PyeongChang.
The team will make a three-day visit to the Mount Kumgang area and Masikryong Ski Resort, both in the east of North Korea.
The 12-member team, led by Lee Joo-tae, director-general for the inter-Korean exchange and cooperation in the Ministry of Unification, entered North Korea via Donghae in the demilitarized zone.
