(VOVWORLD) - Iran and Yemen's Houthi Ansarullah movement have held talks on the recent development in Yemen.
Hossein Jaberi Ansari, the Iranian foreign minister's special assistant for political affairs, met with Mohammad Abdulsalam, the Ansarullah's spokesperson, in the capital Tehran on Tuesday.
Abdulsalam briefed the current political situation and recent conflict developments in Yemen.
The two sides also seek ways to provide humanitarian aid for the Yemeni who have suffered the conflicts since March 2015.
The war in Yemen has killed over 10,000 people and displaced 3 million others, creating one of the world's worst humanitarian crises.
