(VOVworld)- According to Yuyika Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Thursday, Iran has invited IAEA investigators to visit the heavy water facility in Arak on December 8. Last week Iran and P5+1 (which includes Germany, the UK, the US, France, Russia and China) reached an initial agreement to halt Iran’s nuclear program in return for easing economic sanctions. All nuclear-related issues will be put under close observation by the IAEA for the next 6 months. Both sides will participate in further negotiations towards a comprehensive agreement. Meanwhile, Iran must stop building reactors at Arak and accept a series of additional inspection by the IAEA.
