(VOVworld) - Iran and the P5+1 will resume talks on Tehran’s nuclear program next week in Vienna, Austria, the European Union (EU) said Thursday.

They will continue to work towards a comprehensive solution to the Iranian nuclear issue based on the key understandings reached in Switzerland on April 2. EU Political Director Helga Schmid will meet with Iran's deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs, Abbas Araqchi. Representatives from the P5+1 group will also join the negotiations. The EU said experts will continue to work on the technical details necessary to complete the political work.
