Iran wants to damage US military machine
(VOVWORLD) - Iranian ballistic missile attacks on US bases in Iraq were aimed at damaging the American “military machine” and not inflicting casualties and were just the start of “big operations” across the Middle East, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) aerospace commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh said Thursday.

He said Iran has hundreds of missiles ready to be fired, adding that at the time Tehran executed its attacks on Wednesday, Iran had disabled the US defense system.
European Council President Charles Michel said he had talked with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and urged Tehran to abide by the historic nuclear deal Iran signed with world powers in 2015. Mr. Rouhani said Tehran is finding ways to strengthen the nuclear deal and Iran’s refusal to restrict uranium enrichment is necessary to reach balance in the deal. The statement came 3 days after Iran announced it would withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
