Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani on Sunday accused the US and other countries of providing military support to rebels fighting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s army. Iran’s Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi warned against the military intervention of foreign forces in Syria. Vahidi said Iran has not deployed military forces in Syria and the Syrian government has not asked Iran to do so.
