Iran warns of shredding nuclear deal if US quits it
(VOVWORLD) - Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that Tehran will stick to its 2015 nuclear accord with world powers as long as the other signatories respect it, but will “shred” the deal if Washington pulls out.

He spoke five days after US President Donald Trump refused to certify Iran’s compliance with the deal. The US Congress has 60 days to decide whether to re-impose the economic sanctions on Iran which were lifted under the pact.
Trump said he will work with the US Congress and US allies to fix fundamental flaws in the deal. His move has put Washington at odds with other parties to the accord – Britain, France, Germany, Russia, China and the EU – who say Washington cannot unilaterally cancel an international accord supported by the UN.
