Iran will talk to US if oil sanctions are removed
(VOVWORLD) - Iran will sit down at the negotiating table with the US if Iran is freed from US sanctions, including a ban on Iranian oil exports, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said at a conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is on a visit to Iran.

Mr. Rouhani said the US must make a goodwill gesture and asked Mr. Abe to relay Iran’s request to President Donald Trump.
President Rouhani said the US’s trade war is the reason for recent conflicts in the Middle East. Mr. Abe underscored Iran’s constructive role in defusing tension and said that military clashes must be avoided at all cost.
