Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said the talks are meant to prepare for the peaceful deployment of Iraqi troops at border crossings with Turkey, Iran and Syria in Iraq's Kurdistan region.
Earlier talks discussed the return of Kurdish forces to the border line of 2003 and the handover of border crossings to federal authorities.
