(VOVworld) – The Islamic State abducted 120 schoolchildren last Saturday in western and southern districts of Mosul, Iraq, according to Vietnam News Agency’s correspondent in the Middle-East. The current fate of the students is unknown.

In another development, an official of the Kurdistan Democratic Party said IS militants had executed 21 members of his party. The Islamic State has been attacking Christians, Shiites, Sunnis, and Kurdish Muslims.
