The Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS) in Kabul said 10 other IS members were killed in a joint air and ground operation conducted alongside US-led coalition forces. A large cache of weapons and ammunition were destroyed during raids on two IS hideouts. The provincial governor of Nangarhar said Erhabi was the fourth ISIS leader in Afghanistan to be killed since July 2017.
