(VOVworld) - Israel has imposed a number of sanctions on 16 European countries which have pressured the high-ranking representative of the EU to enforce labeling on goods produced in the West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights.

These are the areas which Israel has occupied in contrast to the international law.
The listed countries are Britain, France, Spain, Ireland, Croatia, Malta, the Netherlands, Sweden, Portugal, Slovenia, Italy, Luxembourg, Austria, Belgium, and Finland.
Israel plans to apply sanctions including to reprimand ambassadors of all 16 European countries who will be allowed to meet Israeli officials at ministerial levels or experts instead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or ministers.
Israel is likely to restrict the exchange of information with the Europe on anti-terrorism and migration.
Israel is considering each case to allow or ban European officials to enter the Gaze Strip or the West Bank.
