(VOVworld) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that Israel will continue its military campaign in the Gaza strip until there are no more rockets fired at Israel, regardless of international pressure demanding an end to the airstrikes.

Speaking at a press briefing in Tel Aviv on Friday, Prime Minister Netanyahu also refused to rule out a ground offensive. Amid escalating military activities in Gaza, the US House of Representatives approved a resolution to support Israel’s rights to self-defense in its airstrikes against Hamas. The non-binding resolution, proposed by two congressmen Steve Israel and Tom Cole, indicates that the US should support Israel.
