(VOVworld) – The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed their rocket attack on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday night, a few hours after a rocket launched from Gaza hit the southern Israeli region of Hof Ashkelon. It was the fifth rocket attack from Gaza against Israel in the last month. No casualties have been reported so far.

The Palestine Liberation Organisation said on Tuesday that it would discuss forming a national unity government next week. Analysts said that the new Palestinian government would make completely new appointments and leaders of Palestinian parties would replace independent technocrats in the new cabinet.
