(VOVworld) - Israeli forces detained 25 Palestinians in East Jerusalem and the West Bank overnight Sunday. A prisoner rights group said at least 14 Palestinians in the village of Abwein near Ramallah were issued summonses. An Israeli army spokeswoman said 15 Palestinians were detained overnight for "suspected illegal activity." 

A survey conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research shows that three fourths of Palestinians like the way Hamas carries out its struggle against Israel. 37 % of Palestinians said that armed conflict is the best way for Palestinians to gain their rights, while only 29% of Palestinians support negotiations measures and only 30% are in favor of peace with Israel.
