(VOVworld) - Israel’s Counter Terrorism Bureau has warned Israelis to avoid more than 40 countries. The warnings were issued ahead of the spring holidays in Israel, which include Passover and Independence Day, when many Israelis travel abroad.

The Bureau said the warnings are based on “solid and reliable information, which reflect tangible threats, and which are based on the intelligence picture for the given period”. The 40-country list includes Iraq and Syria, two Arab countries facing a serious lack of security due to attacks by the Islamic State. The other countries are in Asia or Africa.
