(VOVworld) – On Wednesday, the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long launched an agricultural cooperation project with Israel’s Dagan group.

Dagan will transfer hi-tech farming techniques to Vinh Long and help with research on aqua-cultural potential in local areas.

The project also involves the breeding of Koi carps for exports.

Besides, the Israeli group will assist Vinh Long in establishing farming models and a high-tech agricultural park.

Vinh Long is striving to raise its annual agro-fishery production value to about 13,000 USD per hectare by 2020 based on the expansion of advanced farms.
