(VOVworld) - Matteo Renzi, President of the Democratic Party, was sworn in as Italy's youngest Prime Minister, alongside his new Cabinet of 16 ministers on Saturday.

At the age of 39, he will take the responsibility to recover the Eurozone’s third largest economy, which is in the most serious economic recession since War World II.
After the swearing-in ceremony, Renzi and his cabinet will face two confidence votes in the Senate scheduled for Monday.
