(VOVWORLD) - Japan is considering limiting spectators for the delayed 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo to 50% of venue capacity due to the risks of COVID-19, the Sankei newspaper reported on Sunday.

The spectator limit at large venues may be set to 20,000, with more people being allowed if the pandemic situation improves.
Due to the pandemic, the 2020 Olympics were postponed until July of this year.
