(VOVworld) – The Japanese government has signed an agreement to provide funds to build two more schools in Vietnam. One is a secondary school in the northern province of Nam Dinh, and one is a primary school in the central province of Quang Tri to replace the dilapidated ones. At the signing ceremony yesterday, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Yasuaki Tanizaki expressed his hope that the new schools will improve the children’s learning environment and contribute to strengthening the friendship between the two countries. He said that to date, 158 schools have been built using Japanese funding, resulting in a better learning environment for tens of thousands of children.
