Japan pledges to help Vietnam develop ITC
(VOVworld) - Vietnam is ready to coordinate with Japan in ensuring information security, Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan told Japanese Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Sanae Takaichi on Wednesday.

During talks in Tokyo, Minister Tuan called on the two ministries to continue supporting and facilitating cooperation between the two countries’ ICT enterprises. He asked the Japanese to focus its Official Development Assistance (ODA) on information security projects in Vietnam. Minister Takaichi said Japan will share its experience with and support Vietnam in developing its ICT sector.
Following the talks, the two ministers signed an agreement to establish a joint working group to foster collaboration between their ministries.
