Japanese Communist Party praises Vietnam’s achievements
(VOVworld) - The Japanese Communist Party has offered congratulations to the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) on its 12th National Party Congress which will open in Hanoi this Wednesday.

In a recent interview granted to Vietnam News Agency, Yasuo Ogata, Vice Chairman of the Japanese Communist Party, said the Vietnamese Party’s wise leadership has guided Vietnam to numerous achievements. Vietnam has evolved from a poor country into a middle-income country. It was selected as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council and received a positive review of its performance. Vietnam is an active ASEAN member.
Ogata added that the Japanese Communist Party believes new policies to be adopted at CPV’s 12th National Party Congress will drive Vietnam to further success and improve its status in the world.
