Japanese media carries news stories about Vietnam, Japan cooperation
(VOvworld) - Japanese press has reported on Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong’s visit to Japan and praised bilateral cooperation in all fields. Sankei newspaper wrote that Vietnam and Japan will strengthen maritime security cooperation where Japan would help Vietnam improve its law enforcement capacity at sea.

The newspaper emphasized the need for a code of conducts for parties in the East Sea to prevent military clashes. Both countries will promote cooperation in agriculture and energy as well as negotiation on the Trans Pacific Partnership agreement.
Mainichi and Yomiuri newspapers reported on security and economic cooperation, especially Japan’s support in the building of Cho Ray hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. Japan Times ran details of a joint press briefing between Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe after talks at the Prime Minister office.
