Kabul attack: death toll rises to 103
(VOVWORLD) - The death toll in the suicide car bombing in Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Saturday rose to 103 while the number of injuries increased to 235, Afghan authorities confirmed on Sunday.

More security personnel were deployed to check-points near the bomb site. The Afghan authorities warned that the Islamic State is planning attacks on supermarkets and restaurants in Kabul where foreigners often visit. The government declared Sunday a national day of mourning and Monday a public holiday in Kabul to help the families of the victims.
