Kon Tum festival attracts record number of hot air balloons
(VOVWORLD) - The Ngoc Linh Ginseng K5 Balloon Festival opened on Monday in Tu Mo Rong district, the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum, with the participation of 30 hot air balloons, a record number in Vietnam. Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Pham Tuan joined the festival.

Guests can enjoy free air balloon flights for the best view of the land in Tu Mo Rong, where the first indiginous Ngoc Linh ginseng was discovered.
“This is my first time experiencing a hot air balloon flight. I feel so great when I can fly with Hero Pham Tuan. It is such an honor for me,” said A Bliem, a student at Tu Mo Rong district boarding high school for ethnic minorities.
Tu Mo Rong district also organizes many events, such as the Ngoc Linh ginseng market, a workshop on potential and solutions for tourism development in Tu Mo Rong. The Festival is taking place from Monday to Thursday.
