Korean, Vietnamese firms sign ICT deals
(VOVWORLD) - Major Korean companies have signed cooperative deals with local firms at the Vietnam-Korea ICT 2018 on Thursday in Hanoi.
The event, held by the Vietnam Internet Association (VIA) in collaboration with the Korea National Information Technology Promotion Agency (NIPA), attracted dozens of well-known firms from Korea and opened many strategic cooperation opportunities for IT enterprises of the two countries, with some businesses signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) on business cooperation.
Vietnam’s Access Motion Company signed with Korea Tripath Company on advertising based on user location, while Korean DSP1 Company and Viettel Group signed to provide an anti-theft solution based on M2M connection. Korea’s Supernet and Newtatco signed a cooperation agreement in wireline and wireless consolidation services, while Korea JC1 signed an agreement on digital conversion solutions with FSI Vietnam.
The event also featured topics on 5G conditions, Korea's digital policy, and Vietnam’s roadmap for IT development.
