Labor Union cares for workers affected by the pandemic
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam General Confederation of Labour will allocate more than 4.9 million USD to support workers affected by the 4th wave of COVID-19 pandemic.

Addressing a half-year review meeting on Thursday, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang said affected workers have been given allowances since the first outbreak. He says 'Since the beginning of the pandemic, thousands of workers have been supported by the trade union, especially female and pregnant workers. Gifts and basic staples have been donated to ease the difficulties facing workers during the pandemic.'
