(VOVworld) – People in Lai Chau have donated about 30,000 USD to support the on-duty marine police and fishery resources surveillance forces and fishermen.

Two thirds of the donation was contributed by trade union members. Vuong Chi Cong, Vice President of the Lai Chau provincial Confederation of Labour, said: “The provincial Confederation of Labour has directed local units to keep communicating Party and state guidelines and policies. We will continue to encourage employees to contribute to the sea and islands programs.”
