Laos dam collapse: Korean SK E&C company builds shelters for victims
(VOVWORLD) - The Korean SK Engineering and Construction Company (SK E&C) will build 3 temporary houses for local victims of a dam collapse last week in the Lao province of Attepeu.

SK E&C, 1 of 4 investors of the Sepien-Senamnoy hydroelectric power plant, promised to help build a food storehouse.
The same day, the representative in Laos of the Vietnamese Public Security Ministry handed 50,000 USD to the Lao Security Ministry for disaster relief. The search for missing people are facing difficulties as rescue vehicles could not reach the disaster site due to thick mud left by the subsiding flood.
