Laos NA Speaker Pany Yathotou and Vietnamese NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan

During the visit, Ms Yathotou paid a courtesy visit to Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong, attended a ceremony to present the President Order to leaders of 15 Lao provinces, and met Lao students in Vietnam.  The top legislators of Vietnam and Laos co-chaired a seminar on People’s Council’s function on land issue oversight. The Lao National Assembly Speaker attended a culture and sport exchange of Vietnam-Laos border areas and the inauguration of a Vietnam-Lao revolutionary historical relic site in Son La. Ms Yathotou praised the significance of the 55^th anniversary of Vietnam-Lao diplomatic ties and urged for strengthened bilateral cooperation.
