(VOVworld)-The Vietnamese community in Xieng Vang village in central Laos held a celebration to mark the traditional lunar new year. Speaking on behalf of Laotian government, Deputy Prime Minister Somsavat Lengsavath shared local people’s joy and expected them to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching of unity, innovation and fostering bilateral ties. A memorial site was built in Xieng Vang marking President Ho Chi Minh’s time of living and working here in 1929.
