(VOVworld) - The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) on Wednesday reviewed its 5-year action plan on implementing the resolution of the 6^th plenum of the 10^th Party Central Committee on building a strong contingent of the Vietnamese working class during the accelerated industrialization and modernization process. One of the tasks is to care for and protect the legitimate rights of workers, public employees and laborers. The trade unions at different levels are urged to reform their communication and education work to enhance the knowledge of trade union members. The VGCL said it will institutionalize the Party’s guidelines and directions relating to the working class, particularly the views of the 11^th National Party Congress on education, training and development of working class. The Confederation seeks to have 60% of their members to attend training courses and 70% of members to receive more education concerning related laws and regulations.
