Le Hai Long, Vice Chairman of the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers’ Organizations, said that the little soldiers had made a journey to Dien Bien to take part in activities that recreated the Dien Bien Phu battlefield.
“For 3 days, the children participated in experiential activities, playing the role of soldiers, and visited historical relic sites associated with the victory of the Vietnamese army and people in the Dien Bien Phu campaign,” said Mr. Long.
The visiting children joined 300 Dien Bien peers in a program that set a Vietnamese Guinness Record with a Xoe dance performed by children from all 63 Vietnamese provinces and cities.
