The workshop will teach localities new ways to implement promotional and communications programs to tell the world what it wants to know about Vietnam, based on a ranking of criteria by international organizations.
At the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thanh Lam, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, said external communications need a newer, more creative, more effective approach to support diplomacy, tourism, trade, foreign investment attraction, and socio-economic development and improve Vietnam’s competitive advantage.
This new approach will make each locality the foundation and core of promoting Vietnam’s national image, Lam said.
