Localities urged to support residents during pandemic
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has signed the Prime Minister’s Dispatch on COVID-19 prevention and control, which asks the People’s Committees of central cities and provinces under social distancing orders to base their decision whether to continue distancing measures on the local situation.

Localities are ordered to accelerate testing and tracing of infections, and ensure adequate food, housing, and medical support for all residents so they can shelter in place and comply with all prevention and control measures.
The Government's special working group will coordinate with localities to strictly control the southern provinces and prevent COVID-19 from spreading to the Central Highlands and south central region.
