Malaysia captures 4 terrorist suspects
(VOVworld)- Malaysia’s police said on September 22 that they had arrested three foreigners and one Malaysian suspected of having relations with terrorist groups, including the Islamic State (IS), from August 2 to September 17.

Among them, a 37-year-old Bangladeshi was seized on August 19 for arms trafficking to an international terrorist group. His name was also on Interpol’s Red Notice list Another suspect is a 38 year-old Nepalese citizen. He was accused of making forgeries, which facilitated terrorists in travelling. The third suspect is a Moroccan aged 26, who was believed to be an Islamic State member. He had previously been detained by the Turkish government as he attempted to illegally enter Syria. He also later tried to illegally enter Malaysia. These three suspects were deported to their respective countries, said Malaysian police. Meanwhile, the Malaysian suspect was arrested for his links to Mohamad Wanndy Mohamad Jedi, who was believed to have masterminded the first IS-related attack in the Southeast Asian nation. He was caught spreading IS ideology on Facebook.
