(VOVworld) – Malaysia’s Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said Southeast Asia needs to take proactive measures to protect the region as Iraqi army begin an offensive against Mosul, the last IS stronghold in Iraq.

Hussein warned that tens of thousands of IS fighters are expected to flee Iraq and Syria, and take refuge in Southeast Asian.
