(VOVworld) - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh told Voice of Vietnam that his ministry will diversify export markets to promote stable exports of agricultural and fisheries products. He said the potential of Vietnam’s existing bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements should be unlocked to ease dependence on markets such as China, Europe and the US: “The Ministry of Industry and Trade will support businesses in the searching of new markets. We will provide them with information on potential export items that suit local tastes and enhance production restructuring to provide more added values.”
The Ministry will promote international negotiation to remove foreign trade technical barriers of protectionism to ensure Vietnamese exports’ benefit.
