(VOVworld) – South Korea recorded 4 new MERS cases on Wednesday, raising the total number of infections to 179.

27 people have died and more than 13,000 people have been quarantined since the first MERS case was reported. 11,210 people were released when they showed no sign of infection after 14 days. 67 of the 179 people infected were discharged from hospital after they fully recovered.
