(VOVworld) – Various activities have been held across Vietnam on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

In Da Nang City, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh attended a ceremony on Sunday, where she asked the municipal authorities, local agencies, and organizations to pay more attention and effectively realize programs for children to improve their living conditions and build a safe, healthy, and friendly environment for them to develop and become useful citizens.

The same day, the Central Institute for Hematology and Blood Transfusion organized a volunteer day which aims to call on hundreds of volunteers in Hanoi to donate blood to help child patients quickly recover and enjoy a happy Mid-Autumn Festival.

In Dong Nai Province, about 1,000 children of workers with disadvantaged situations working in the local industrial zones joined a Mid-Autumn celebration where they were presented gifts, played traditional games, and watched dragon dancing performances.
