(VOVworld) – A ceremony to support child victims of Agent Orange/dioxin was held on Sunday at the Thai Binh province vocational school for children with disabilities.

The ceremony was attended by Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, along with representatives of the National Assembly Office, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, local authorities, and the Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk). 25,000 USD, which will be used to buy milk for 600 students in the province, most of them are victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, was presented to leaders of the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. Gifts worth 50 USD each were presented to 50 child AO/dioxin victims at the school. The milk donation was part of the 'Vietnam Rising' Milk Fund program launched by the Vinamilk Company and the National Fund for Vietnamese Children.
