(VOVworld) – The Minister of Public Security, Tran Dai Quang, praised the outgoing US Ambassador to Vietnam, David Shear, for his contribution in promoting cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and US relevant agencies at a reception for the Ambassador in Hanoi on Thursday.

Minister Quang stressed that the potential for Vietnam-US cooperation was huge, calling on the two countries to boost cooperation in various fields. Minister Quang expressed his hope that Ambassador Shear would further contribute to the effective cooperation between the ministry and relevant US agencies as well as that of the two countries in general in his new position.
