Ministers monitor support activities in disaster hit areas
(VOVWORLD) -A delegation led by Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha on Saturday visited the hardest hit areas of Yen Bai province to evaluate losses and work out measures to prevent flash floods and landslide.

A delegation led by Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha on Saturday visited the hardest hit areas of Yen Bai province to evaluate losses and work out measures to prevent flash floods and landslide.
He assigned the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting to promptly inform the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and the provincial authorities of extreme weather phenomenon. Minister Ha sent his deep condolences to the families of the victims in the recent flashflood in Mu Cang Chai, gave 44,000 USD from the Fund for Environmental Protection to Yen Bai province, and 200 bunk beds to the Mu Cang Chai’s Ethnic Minority Boarding school.
A delegation led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Linh Ngoc headed for Son La to hand out another 25,000USD to flood victims in the province.
