At the meeting in anticipation of the Vietnam Teachers’ Day on November 20, Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha praised teachers for overcoming difficulties and providing knowledge to island and disadvantaged students and called on them to continue taking practical and innovative measures to contribute to the national educational reform. He said: “I congratulate teachers who have gained numerous achievements in teaching and set a role model for their colleagues. I promise to work with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth League’s Central Committee to adopt policies favourable for your lives. That’s our most effective way of acknowledging the teachers’ contributions.
