Ministry of Health: Only vaccinated experts allowed to quarantine in civil establishments
(VOVWORLD) - Only experts who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 are allowed to quarantine in civil establishments. Those who have not must quarantine in military-controlled facilities, the Ministry of Health said Wednesday at a meeting of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The Ministry of Health was asked to outline procedures to strictly manage individuals entering Vietnam.
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Head of the Committee, said: “We need a brand new guide. Overseas Vietnamese wishing to return are required to notify the Vietnamese Embassy in their country whether or not they have been vaccinated and their place of residence in Vietnam. The same procedures apply to foreign experts. All this information will be collected in a database by the Ministry of Information and Communications.”

At the meeting, the Committee set criteria for emergency response levels for the pandemic: new normal, risk, high risk, and extremely high risk.
