(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam will welcome international tourists in all international border gates, including inbound and outbound as from March 31 when the country fully opens its tourism market, according to a Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s proposal.
The Ministry suggested visa exemption for travelers from 24 countries and territories as applied before the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak in 2020.
It also asked for further negotiation between the Health Ministry and its world partner agencies for early recognition of Vietnamese vaccine passports to facilitate Vietnamese traveling abroad.
