(VOVworld) – Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien visited two patients of liver and heart transplantations at Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi on Saturday.

 
The patients’ health is now stable. Minister Tien said that the Ministry of Health will discuss with hospitals nationwide to formulate a process for the registration and management of organ donations. She called for continued communication activities to help people understand more about the humane significance of organ donations. Minister Tien said: “If there are more organ donors, we should have more specialized means to transport the organs. In the long term, the National Coordination Center for Organ Transplantation should call for individual involvement to buy helicopters to make it easier for timely transplantations.”
