(VOVworld) – More than 177,000 books were sold at the weeklong Hanoi Book Fair 2014 that closed on Thursday. Phan Lan Tu is Director of the Hanoi Department of Information and Communication: "It’s a pity the fair has closed. The event was more successful than we had hoped. We saw a large number of visitors all week. Some book stalls were overflowing with customers. They had to queue in a long line to buy books. This is such a wonderful event for Hanoi in autumn."
