(VOVworld) – Mozambique has pledged to ensure safety for Viettel’s investment and the security of Vietnamese community there, said Mozambican Minister of Home Affairs Jaime Monteiro at a meeting with Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique Nguyen Van Trung on July 3.

Mr. Trung said Vietnam respects cooperation between the two countries’ public security sectors. Vietnam will host 50 Mozambican policemen to attend international training courses at the Vietnamese People’s Police Academy this year.
Minister Monteiro appreciated the two Ministries of Public Security’s cooperation on training, combating crimes, and sharing information on cross-border crimes.
